Litjoy Unboxing – July 2018

It’s a little late but here is my Litjoy unboxing for the July 2018 box. It was awesome, as usual!

This is a pillowcase. I love it! It matches my room perfectly.

I love this tote bag with a Guardians of the Galaxy quote! I loved this scene.

Here’s the piece of art and a cute bookmark that says “Take me to your reader.”

I love Groot, I love this adorable picture holder with a picture of baby Groot. This is also a great Star Wars pin that says “Rebel Scum.”

And finally, here’s the book! It’s Sanctuary by Caryn Lix. I can’t wait to read it!

These are my favourite part… the collectible cards! This month they were pictures of Linh Cinder and Prince Kai from The Lunar Chronicles, as well as Queen Levana. I love these cards! They are such a great idea!

Stacking the Shelves – September 1

This is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality. Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

  • The Black Witch (The Black Witch Chronicles #1) by Laurie Forest
    25740412-3

  • The Iron Flower (The Black Witch Chronicles #2) by Laurie Forest

Owlcrate Unboxing- June 2018

This was my first Owlcrate and I’m so impressed! This was an amazing crate!

The book is From Twinkle, with Love. This is a special Owlcrate cover, which is so cool!!! The colours are different from the original cover, which makes it extra special. You can find my review for this book here.

This is an adorable mason jar mug. It’s hard to read it here, but it says “Book worm and proud.” That’s definitely true!

There was also a pen, bookmark, apple tea bags, a pin, and a popcorn keychain that goes with the book! I loved these goodies!

Just in time for summer, I got this awesome beach towel! I need to go to the beach just so I can use it!

I’m beyond excited about my first Owlcrate box! I signed up for a three month subscription because I got a discount at BookCon. I’m so glad I will be receiving this crate next month too!

Do you have an Owlcrate subscription? Did you get this box too? What did you think of it?

December Uppercase Reveal

Here’s my reveal of the December Uppercase Box. There were some fun goodies here!

This is a notepad for tracking the books you’ve lent to friends! Great for keeping track of all those books you may or may not have floating around your friends.

Here’s a cute pin from Swoon Reads: Shelfies over Selfies!

Of course, I can always use an extra pouch. As Hermione says “When in doubt, go to the library.”

Since I received this box, I keep seeing this book everywhere! I can’t wait to read it. The cover is so beautiful!

Did you get the Uppercase Box too? Have you read Foolish Hearts?

Book Haul (August 14-20)

Starting today, every Sunday I will post a Book Haul of all the books I received for the previous week.

Last week, I went to the Book Outlet in St. Catharine’s, Ontario. I could spend hours in that store! Here’s what I bought:

The Lying Game series by Sara Shepard

I read The Lying Game last week and I absolutely loved it! I purchased three more books in the series (Never Have I Ever, Two Truths And A Lie, and Cross My Heart, Hope To Die). I’m excited to read these books in the coming weeks.

Pretty Little Liars series by Sara Shepard

Since I started reading The Lying Game series, I also wanted to revisit the Pretty Little Liars series, also by Sara Shepard. I read the first two books years ago, but I stopped reading them because I was flying through them and I wanted to read books that would last me longer than a day. However, now that I blog book reviews daily, I want to read books quickly so I bought more books in the series. After I finish The Lying Game series, I will return to this series and post my reviews on my blog.

Rapunzel’s Revenge and Calamity Jack by Shannon and Dean Hale

I absolutely love adaptations of fairytales. I read Austenland by Shannon Hale and I loved it, and I’ve heard good things about her books for younger readers. So when I saw that she had written these graphic novels AND they are based on fairytales, I had to get them! I will review these books soon.

Pants On Fire by Meg Cabot

Last but certainly not least, I got Pants on Fire by Meg Cabot. I’ve been feeling nostalgic recently while reviewing YA books and looking back on the ones I read as a teen, so I wanted to read something new from Meg Cabot. I loved her books when I was in my early teens. She greatly influenced my writing and reading habits. This one sounds like a cute story, so I’m looking forward to reading it soon.

Have you read any of these books? Do you have any suggestions for what I should read next? I’d love to hear your comments!
Thanks for reading!

Book Haul: May Uppercase Box

This month’s Uppercase Box is so adorable!

On top of the bag are super cute iron-on patches of a book and a cat!

The book is a YA story about how winning the lottery can change a teenager’s life. It sounds exciting!

My favourite item is the pair of earrings! Each earring is a different book shape. I’m going to save them for a special occasion!

Book Haul: April Uppercase Box

The Uppercase Box for April was awesome! The first thing I saw was the Hogwarts notebook! It’s amazing! It will have to be used for a very special project! ❤️

There is a bookmark with a quote from The Hobbit on it. It’s made of a very thin wood, so it should be durable.

The book sounds awesome! It’s YA Fantasy. There is also a magnet that matches the book. I’m so excited to read it!

Book Haul

I’m so excited about these books this week! Fireworks is a YA novel that comes out on Tuesday. It’s about two best friends, who end up on a journey to become pop stars.

Gone Without a Trace is also coming out on Tuesday. It is an adult thriller.

Pride and Prejudice is a Manga Classic galley that I received this week. Though it isn’t a new release, I’ve been looking at this book for a while so I’m so excited to be able to review it. I love collecting different adaptations of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice.

Look for these reviews and more coming this week!

Book Haul

Here are my new books this week!

The Best of Adam Sharp is the latest book by Graeme Simsion, the author of The Rosie Project and The Rosie Effect. Both of those books were great, so I’m looking forward to his new one!

There has been a lot of buzz on social media about The Finishing School by Joanna Goodman. I’m very excited to start it.

How To Be a Bawse is the debut book from the YouTube star Lilly Singh. She’s very talented so I’m sure her book will be a hit.

Look for my reviews of these books this week!
