First Lines Friday – March 5

This is a weekly meme hosted by Wandering Words, where you give the first few lines of a book to hook your readers before introducing the book.

Here are my first lines:

“I don’t care what any of the assholes I live with tell you. I don’t work at a bodega. It’s a health food store.”
