Considering all these titles with “mother”, “daughter”, “sister”, “husband” and “wife” in the titles of thrillers… It’s like everything goes downhill once a person gets married – according to thriller logic anyway 😀

Also, when there is “girl” in the title, it’s usually a woman, not actually a girl… Weird.

Haha that’s true. And most of them deal with a spouse or child going missing. Yes, I’m not sure why the titles say “girl” when women are the main characters, and they aren’t marketed towards kids.
