Beat the Backlist 2018

Here’s my first challenge of the new year! I’m so excited to do this challenge, because I have so many books piled up that I want to read, but I’ve been neglecting them to read new ARCs instead. Now I finally have a reason to read them!

Here are the rules:

The challenge will run from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018. You have an ENTIRE YEAR to complete your goal!

Books must be released prior to 2018 to count for this challenge. Although we love new releases too, this isn’t the challenge for them.

You can sign up here and don’t forget to tag #BeatTheBacklist and @BeatTheBacklist on Twitter.

Once you sign up, you will be put into a team so you can earn points and prizes.

So without further ado, here’s my back list for 2018:

  • Warcross by Marie Lu
  • Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater
  • The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater

  1. Jill, thank you for sharing. I am totally doing this! My TBR pile from 2017 is still calling my name. I do the same thing though sometimes and push them to the side when I receive a new ARC that I am excited for. Time to show the books and authors in my 2017 TBR pile some L-O-V-E. Plus, this just sounds like a whole lot of fun.

    1. Thanks! Yes I push aside books I really want to read because I’ve promised to do reviews. But I’m going to try to read more of what I like this year. I can’t wait to see your list!

  3. The only book I’ve read from your list is “A court of thorns and roses”. I have no plans to buy the rest of the series, but I am curious what you’ll write about those books 🙂

I’m also on Team Book Bards btw 🙂 With my other blog.
