  1. I read ‘The Penelopiad’ recently and I was surprised how much I liked it. It almost made reading that agonizing slog that is ‘The Odyssey’ worth it, because it helped with context. I haven’t read any of the others, though I really like the books I have read by Neil Gaiman.
