Here’s my weekly wrap up!
This week, I subscribed to Scribd. It’s a subscription service with ebooks and audiobooks. I used to have it, but then I just had too much to read. I got it again in preparation for a road trip my family is going on in a few weeks. I can’t read in the car, so I plan on listening to some audiobooks so I don’t lose any reading time.
I read 8 books this week, and reviewed 7 of them:
- Harley Quinn Volume 1: Die Laughing
- Awakening
- Masked
- Young Jane Young
- Life of a Bastard Volume 1
- The Artsy Mistake Mystery
- Home Fire
I really enjoyed all of these books. It was a good reading week! My favourite was Home Fire. I highly recommend it! My least favourite (though I still liked it) was Life of a Bastard.
I also did a weekly book meme everyday:
- It’s Monday, What are you reading?
- Top Ten Tuesday
- ‘Waiting on’ Wednesday
- TBR Thursday
- First Lines Friday
- Stacking the Shelves
What did you read this week? Have you read any of these books?
Wow 8 books in one week?! That’s amazing!!

Sounds like you had a great book week! I have never been able to read in the car either because I get so motion sick! I have recently found that if I drape something over my heard so all I can see is the book, that it helps, because I think its seeing movement in my peripheral vision that causes the majority of the motion sickness.

Ohh I should try that! A couple of years ago I was able to read during a car trip, I think because I kept my head down and didn’t look out the windows.

My husband laughed at me the whole time, and I had to come up for air several times, but it did allow me to read and not feel like the world was spinning! Do you take anything for the motion sickness? I still make sure I take meclizine before all rides.

Haha I can imagine. Yes I take medication for motion sickness. I used to get it a lot worse when I was a kid. Now I mostly get it if I try to read or use my phone in the car.
